Dr Nelson A Rodriguez-Unda is currently an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he trained as a Microsurgeon. He completed his plastic surgery residency in 2022 at Baylor Scott-White in Temple, Texas. Before starting his residency he spent a year as a Post-Doc Research Fellow at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He is originally from a small town in southern Ecuador called Loja, he finished his Medical School at the University of Chile in Santiago, Chile. His research interests are: Breast Reconstruction sensory restoration, Quality of Life outcomes, abdominal wall reconstruction and lately Resident education and mentorship.
