Brian Gander, MD, is a UW Health plastic, reconstructive and hand surgeon. He's also a clinical associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Gander specializes in hand and wrist surgery and microsurgery. He treats conditions ranging from cosmetic concerns to bone fractures and complex traumatic injuries in patients of all ages. In addition to wrist and hand repair and reconstruction, Dr. Gander treats carpal tunnel syndrome and other nerve disorders. His specialties include complex scalp reconstruction as well as reconstructive surgery on the breast, chest, abdomen, arms, legs and feet. He also performs cosmetic facial procedures, skin reconstruction after cancer and body contouring.
