Dr. George A. Lawson, MD, FACS

About

Dr. Lawson grew up in Aiken, SC where he was valedictorian of his high school. He then moved on to Winston-Salem, NC to attend Wake Forest University and finished with honors. He completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and finished in the top 10 of his class. Dr. Lawson’s interest in surgery took him to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he finished a challenging 5-year residency in General Surgery. He then completed his training with a plastic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, where he was nominated for the Mayo Brothers Distinguished Fellowship.
