Kira Lauren Segal, M.D.

About

Dr. Segal is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her practice interests include eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty, ptosis), brow lift, thyroid eye disease/correction of bulging eyes, cancers of the eyelids, orbit and face including complex Mohs reconstruction, eyelid malposition, tearing disorders, facial nerve palsy, anophthalmic socket and aesthetic surgery for eyelids, eyebrow and midface. Dr. Segal received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated Summa cum laude. She then obtained her MD with honors in service to the community and research from Weill Cornell Medical College. She was awarded the Medical Society State of New York Award for medical excellence.
