Dr. Andrew G. Silver has stood out as an exceptional physician many times along his career path. He excelled at the St. Louis University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the honor medical society reserved for the top 10% of medical students in the country. He then became the first St. Louis University medical student in 15 years to be accepted into a prestigious plastic surgery residency. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Nevada and scored in the top 1% nationally on his surgical exams. Training in a county hospital setting requires a great deal of responsibility for surgeons in training, which allowed Dr. Silver to reveal his strong sense of duty to his patients.
