Dr. Gibreel is a pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgeon. His clinical focus includes: Expertise in reconstruction of congenital and traumatic ear defects, including microtia surgery and otoplasty. Cleft lip and palate. Craniosynostosis surgery, and other surgeries related to craniofacial syndromes. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Gibreel is active in education and research. He is involved in educating and mentoring surgical residents. He is an associate program director for the integrated plastic surgery residency program. Dr. Gibreel is active in research. He directs the interdisciplinary pediatric craniofacial research group and serves as a vice chair of research in the division of plastic surgery.
