Richard D Klein, MD, MPH, CLT-LANA, FACS, is a board-certified plastic surgeon. After graduating with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine with medical and public health degrees, Dr Klein trained in General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then went on to complete a trauma/burn research fellowship where he was awarded a prestigious K08 Grant by the National Institutes of Health. He then completed his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan Medical School. His prolific research activities include nearly 100 contributions including scientific presentations, peer-reviewed publications, book chapters and medical abstracts.
