Dr. Yoel A. Rojas Ortiz is a board-certified plastic surgeon who received his MD from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery at University of Puerto Rico and Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, followed by a burn surgery fellowship at LIPSG in conjunction with Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Rojas specializes in reconstructive surgery for burn patients and gender-affirming surgical procedures for transgender patients. Dr. Ortiz was named to Newsweek’s 2021 list of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons and named as New York Times’ Super Doctors Rising Star in 2020 and 2021.
