My name is Dr. Carlos Mata, aka Dr. Scottsdale®. I'm a bilingual Harvard-trained board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. My motto is “Be your OWN kind of beautiful”. It means I take the personal image of “beautiful” in my patient’s eyes and bringing it to life through surgical sculpting. I believe in giving back, and I go every year on medical mission trips in third world countries to help those in need. I'm known as Dr. Scottsdale® and I performed over 25,000 surgical procedures in Miami, Boston, Houston, and the Scottsdale Metropolitan area.
