Dr. John Bauer, M.D.

Dr. Bauer has been a board-certified plastic surgeon since 2002. At Alabama Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Bauer brings his expertise to the team by specializing in breast and body procedures. These include breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, tummy tuck, body contouring after weight loss, cosmetic procedures, and reconstructive procedures. After graduating from Medical College of Pennsylvania, he trained with Dr. Linda Phillips at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Also, he worked as a professor for more than a decade, training residents. Dr. Bauer's philosophy is that the doctor-patient relationship is essential and that a compassionate ear is necessary to meeting patient goals.
